PLEASE READ MY FAQ BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS <3

Q: Do you recommend any workouts?

A: Workout links « These! And any workout honestly. If you’re a beginner squeeze for 20 -30 minutes a day for 5 days a week. If you’re a little more experienced try to fit in 5-6 hours a week for maximum results.

If you can’t afford to go to a gym or don’t want to do a workout video click here for at home workouts

Q: If I do _____ and _____ exercise how much will I lose?

A: No one can tell you exactly how much you’re going to lose. Aim to exercise 30 minutes a day for 5-6 days a week and you’ll see results within no time

Q: I want to start drinking protein shakes, which is the best one?

A: I don’t know whats best but I bought Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey in chocolate and I LOVE IT and highly recommend it.

Q: Will protein shakes make me gain weight?

A: Protein shakes can be used to gain weight or to repair/replenish muscle tissue after vigorous exercise. If you drink protein shakes in excess you will gain weight (if you go over your required intake). I drink protein shakes and I’m LOSING weight not gaining so don’t be afraid!! I have about 1 shake every other day. I don’t drink protein shakes on rest days but its definitely okay if you do, I’m just trying out whats best for my bodaaay.

Q: How much protein should I eat in a day?

A: Click here for an online calculator

Q: How many calories do I need to eat in a day?

A: Calculate your daily intake here

Q: How many calories will I burn doing ___ exercise?

A: No one can accurately tell you unless you decide to invest in a heart rate monitor.

Q: Do I eat too much fruit I ate ___ grams today.

A: Eating anywhere between 80-100g of NATURAL sugar is perfectly fine!

Q: Tips on how to stop eating junk food?

A: Have a reason to stop eating junk food (health reasons, lower cholesterol, etc), plan out exactly what you’re going to eat for the day and follow that meal plan, realize you don’t need to ban junk food completely from your life you just need to eat it responsibly and try not to buy so much junk food next time you go grocery shopping especially since its hard for you to avoid eating it

Q: My family isn’t supportive of me eating healthy… how can I make them take me seriously?

A: Casey ho has a lovely post about this!

Q: Can I lose weight by just eating healthy?

A: Most definitely! As long as you have a calorie deficit you will lose weight. Combining exercise and diet allows your body to change at a faster rate and also keeps you healthier in the longrun :)

Q: How can I stay motivated? I feel so -insert negative traits here-

A: You just need to get off your butt and do something about it. Honestly that was my biggest motivation, I sat there and I complained that I ate too much… that I didn’t workout… that I felt miserable… but at the end of the day… what’d I do about it?? NOTHING! So how could I fix that? By getting off of my ass and doing something about it!!! There are days where I eat a LOT or don’t exercise and I feel crappy as hell but thats my own fault no one else’s… thats what motivates me. You have to find something that motivates you, whether it be quotes all over your room, new workout clothes, a picture, anything at all.

Q: Do you have tips on eating at a friends house, I’m spending the night!

Take snacks with you! I’m not sure how long you stay or what meals you stay for. But you can always take your own meals or take snacks to munch on. Just tell them that you have to follow a certain meal plan so it doesn’t seem too offensive. I’m sure they’ll understand! Or just ask them if you can bring over dinner one night since you’re spending the night

Q: I’m going to go out with a group of friends tonight, can you give me some tips on alcohol:

A: Click here and here

Q: What should I eat for _____?

Breakfast, lunch or dinner & snack recipes!

Q: What can you recommend to someone that wants to start eating healthy but is on a budget.

A: 44 HEALTHY FOODS UNDER $145 HEALTHY FOODS TO MAKE AND NEVER BUY AGAIN$100 DIETGROCERY SHOPPING ON A BUDGET and EATING HEALTHY ON A BUDGET: TIPS FOR ATHLETES

Q: Should I eat ___ I still have ___ calories left

A: Its honestly UP TO YOU having me say yes or no isn’t going to help you in anyway shape or form.

Q: The scale isn’t moving and I’m getting discouraged. How else can I measure my progress?

A: Take progress pictures weekly and also take your measurements. Measurements are a great way to determine how much your body is changing!

I would also suggest you change up your routine and definitely keep your intake at a higher calorie range. Try doing some high intensity interval training (for 20 mins 3x/week). You’re could just experiencing a plateau! I had one at 160lbs and so I did insanity for 2 weeks and BOOM there went my plateau. Counting calories became an obsession for me so I don’t count anymore, if you feel like you’re getting too focused on calories then stop counting. Just focus on your workouts and also try weight training, it seriously helps and melts inches off of your body. The scale is irrelevant if you can physically see the changes your body is going through.

Here are more tips on how to overcome a plateau

Q: I want to lose fat on __ part of my body, what should I do?

A: Cardio but also make sure you understand that you cannot spot reduce any part of your body.

Q: I’m afraid of getting excess skin if I lose too much weight. How can I prevent this?

A: The cause of excess skin is loosing too much weight too quickly. Just make small changes if you’re afraid of this. For ex: exercise 3x a week and decrease your caloric intake by 300-500 calories. Then within time you can increase the intensity of your workouts more and more. Another reason behind excess skin is losing muscle mass, with that being said LIFT WEIGHTS. Also drink tons of water and eat healthy yummy food to nourish your body!

Q: I want to start lifting weights… HELP!

A: This website is what I used to help me, I use it as a reference whenever I want to learn new exercises or about ANYTHING!

Q: You always say to lift weights… but I’m a girl won’t I get bulky?

A: Girls do not have the same levels of hormones as boys, so we will not bulk up like them EVER. If you feel like you are looking bulky its because you haven’t gotten rid of the extra layer of fat that is covering your muscles. I would suggest you do cardio and burn off that fat so your sexy mooscles can show :)

Q: I don’t want to get strong I just want to be lean!

A: Use pop pilate workouts, also realize you won’t get muscular if you lift weights unless you REALLY want to and work hard for it!

Q: Workouts for a nicer butt/arms/body part

A: Abs, arms, legs, butt, love handles and chest

Q: Any tips on how to get a flat stomach?

A: Perform ab exercises but realize that cardio is also essential ans so is diet. DIET PLAYS A HUUUUGE role in getting a flat toned stomach! Eat a clean diet 90% of the time and exercise 5-6 days a week and you’ll see results in no time. You have to be patient though! Heres are a few tips: No more junk food, throw it all out. Reduce your sugar intake. Consume only GOOD carbs (oats, brown rice, sweet potatoe, etc.). If you drink alcohol… drink less or stop altogether. Reduce your salt intake (it can bloat bloat bloat you). EAT REAL FOOD. Basically be more aware of what you’re putting into your body along with exercising

Q: How many calories should I eat? Everywhere I see people saying eat 1200 calories but Im confused.

A: You should have a NET intake of 1200 calories, this means if you eat 1600 calories and burn off 400 calories you will still have a net intake of 1200 calories. This is perfect!! I would recommend you to eat 1200-1400 calories on days you don’t workout and on days you do workout eat 1500-1800 calories.

Q: What should I eat pre/post workout?

Realize that BOTH pre and post workout nutrition is VERY important. Here are a list of ideas what you should eat pre-workout and post workout

Q:  I weigh ___ and I’m ___ tall is this okay for my weight?

Check here. But also keep in mind, everyone is different! Calculating your body fat is far more accurate. :)

Q: Insert random measurements here, what body type am I?

A: Check this and this website.

Q: Promo me?

A: I’VE BEEN GETTING THIS QUESTION A LOT lately. So no I’m sorry I won’t promo you unless I actually talk to you or know you or I seriously love your blog. I’m sorry but it gets annoying having people ask you EVERYDAY.

Q: Will you check out my blog?
